Battlelore is a metal band from Lappeenranta, Finland. All of Battlelore’s lyrics concern J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth. Battlelore mixes female vocals with harsh male growling in “beauty and the beast” duet. The band’s style takes elements from gothic metal, folk metal, power metal, melodic death metal, and, to a lesser extent, industrial music.
Battlelore’s third album “Third Age of the Sun” offers a refreshing new sound for its journey through Middle Earth. The band concentrated on creating the perfect atmosphere and underlying moods The videoclip to “Storm of the Blades” delivers an adventure-ridden look into the bands’ magical interpretation of Tolkien’s Middle Earth.
